The short answer
A small business website in Malta costs between EUR 499 and EUR 2,999 as a one-off, depending on how many pages it has and whether it needs to sell anything. If paying upfront is the problem, the same builds are available from EUR 45 a month with nothing to pay at the start.
Those are the prices we charge, agreed in writing before work begins. They are not starting points that grow once the job is underway.
What each tier costs, and who it suits
Starter, EUR 499
Up to five pages, live in one to two weeks. This is the right size for a business that needs to exist properly online: who you are, what you do, and how to reach you. Most trades, consultants and small practices need nothing more than this.
Business, EUR 1,299
Up to twelve pages, live in two to three weeks. Room for individual service pages, which matters if you want each service to be findable on its own in search rather than buried in one long page.
Online Store, EUR 2,999
Unlimited products, live in four to six weeks. Payments, product management and checkout. The jump in price over a brochure site is mostly the commerce side: products, tax handling, payment setup and testing that money actually arrives.
Paying monthly instead
The same three builds are available at EUR 45, EUR 60 and EUR 140 a month with nothing upfront. There is a two year minimum term, after which the plan continues month to month and you can cancel it yourself whenever you like. Hosting, domain and email are included for the whole time you are on it.
This works out more expensive than paying once if you keep it for many years, and cheaper than finding EUR 2,999 in one go if you cannot. It is a cash flow choice, not a quality one – the build is identical.
What is included at every price
- A design built for phones as well as computers
- Contact and enquiry forms
- Basic search engine setup so the site can be found
- The first year of hosting, your domain and email
- An allowance for small text and image changes each month
From year two, hosting renews annually at the rate of the plan included with your package. That is what keeps the site, the domain and the email working.
What pushes the price up
Published add-on prices, so you can budget before asking:
- Booking and appointments system, from EUR 450
- A second language, from EUR 350
- Extra pages, from EUR 75 each
- Branding kit or brand redesign, from EUR 300
Anything can be added after launch. You are not locked into what you picked on day one.
Why quotes vary so much between suppliers
Three things usually explain a wide spread on the same brief. First, whether hosting, domain and email are included or billed separately afterwards. Second, whether the price is fixed or an hourly estimate that can drift. Third, whether anybody is there when something breaks a year later, and whether that costs extra.
A cheap build with no support and separate hosting can easily cost more over three years than a fixed price that includes both. Ask for the three year cost, not the build price.
